10 Scriptures Highlighting the Powerful Truth That God Is Able
“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,” Ephesians 3:20 NKJV
I don’t know what problem or mountain you may be facing today, but I have GOOD news for you!
GOD IS ABLE!!
A couple of years ago, I received a mailer from Mark Hankins Ministries with a list of TEN Scriptures that highlight the powerful truth that God is able.
You will find the list of Scriptures below. From the list, we learn that God is able to:
- perform His promises
- do exploits for you that exceed your wildest imaginations
- make His grace abound to you
- help you withstand temptations and keep you from stumbling
- save and keep you into eternity
- restore you if you have strayed from Him
- perform miracles in your life and,
- deliver you from adversity
God is able. Therefore, be encouraged to trust Him completely as you step out in faith, to yield wholeheartedly to His call on your life.
As an extra, I included a very old video of my daughter (with my voice in the background) singing the Igbo Christian chorus, “Ifeanyi Chukwu.”
Nigerian names typically have meanings, and for Nigerian Christians, our names are usually (but not always) a reflection of who God is or our relationship with Him. In my language, Igbo, Ifeanyichukwu is a name given to both boys and girls. Translated literally, it means nothing is too heavy for God. However, it means nothing is too difficult for God, or nothing is impossible with God when used in context.
Here are the lyrics.
Ifeanyi Chukwu (Nothing is impossible with God)
Ifeanyi Chineke (Nothing is impossible with God)
O nwere ihe n’anyi Chukwu n’ezia, n’ezia (Truly, there is nothing impossible with God)
O nwere ihe n’anyi Chukwu n’ezia, n’ezia (Truly, there is nothing impossible with God)
Whatever comes your way, face it with boldness because your Father loves you, and He is more than able to take care of you.
You are blessed.
